  • All patrons who intend to swim must shower fully before entering the pool.

  • Outdoor footwear is NOT permitted in change rooms or on deck (separate water shoes or sandals are acceptable).

  • Sign up is required for Family, General and Baby & Me swims. Spots are limited based on number of lifeguards, and signing up ensures you are able to get in. Reservations can only be made the day before a scheduled swim by calling Membership Services at (709) 489-9622.

  • Any private pool rental must follow the guidelines and ensure appropriate guardian/child ratios.

  • Family Swims: Ages 10-15 who are confident swimmers must have an adult accompany them either on deck or the viewing area (max 4 per adult). Ages 9 and under, or ages 10-15 who are NOT confident swimmers must have an adult in the water with them within arms reach (max 2 per adult). Ages 16 or older require no supervision.

  • Lane Swims: Open to anyone 10 years and older who wishes to swim continuous laps only. This is not an open swim for play time. There may be one lane reserved for a “leisure pace”. Sign up not required, just drop in during scheduled lane swim times.

  • The Tot Pool is for children ages 5 and under with an adult in the water, who is responsible for their direct supervision. The tot pool is only open during Baby & Me, General and Family Swims, as well as used for Swim Lessons.

  • Lifeguards may request that any individual, not adhering to safety and etiquette guidelines, leave the pool area.
